Reaching Home

Canada's homelessness strategy

Reaching Home: Canada’s Homelessness Strategy is a community-based program aimed at preventing and reducing homelessness across Canada, funded by the Government of Canada.

In the Greater Vancouver region, the local Community Entity delivering the program is Lu’ma Native Housing Society, in partnership with VCF.

There is also a Community Advisory Board (CAB) that gives voice to the interests of the homeless population and to the homeless-serving community. The CAB develops the Reaching Home community plan and reviews and recommends projects.
